Welcome to Ladakh. You'll land at Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, one of the highest operational airports in the world at over 3,500 meters. After transfer to the hotel, the day is kept free for acclimatization.
After breakfast, drive through the lower western part of Leh, following the Indus River.
Head to Pangong Lake, the high-altitude lake made famous by 3 Idiots, stretching roughly 130 km along the India-China border. The drive crosses Chang La, the world's third highest motorable pass.
Today you'll bid farewell to Ladakh and transfer to the airport in the morning, taking with you some memorable views of the mountains.
